Giving THANKS Together...

Join the Holland Rescue Mission at the Holland Civic Center on Wednesday, November 24 for a delicious Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. The Big Band of Praise will lead the worship. And a special program will be available for children 3-10 years old. Care boxes will be given to every house address represented, while supplies last. Doors open at 4:00 for the 4:30 meal, and again at 5:30 for the 6:00 meal. Choose the time that works best for you.

This humorous yet poignant memoir details Ms. Wollf’s childhood growing up in an all-black Seattle neighborhood with a white father who wanted to be black. Bring a lunch, bring a friend, and join the discussion. Feel free to join us whether you’ve finished the book or not–we always have a great conversation!
